Opportunity:

RN - LDRP

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend shifts required based on unit needs and requests
* No on-call or standby requirement
* First to float - may float to all Treasure Valley sites in Meridian, Nampa, and Boise in primary skill set (L&D, Postpartum, or Antepartum) or as a sitter
* Block scheduling is not guaranteed - cannot work 6 shifts in a row
* 1 year of RN experience accepted; must have minimum 3 years of L&D experience and prefer 1 year of mother baby experience
* Must be able to attend deliveries and complete 1 hour of newborn care, triage, circulate C-sections, and provide Postpartum Couplet Care
* Must have experience with magnesium administration
* Required to titrate drips including Pitocin Protocol, Magnesium Protocol, and occasional Insulin drips
* Must be experienced and comfortable working with diverse patient population including 32-week gestation and greater, HTN patients on magnesium, BACs, TOLACs, gestational diabetes, and antepartum patients
* Charting system: EPIC - Compliance and EPIC Curio assignments must be completed before start
* EFM System: Centricity
* 4 shifts of unit/department specific orientation provided including orientation to C-section, labor, and Postpartum
* Hospital issued scrubs required - must be changed into and out of at the beginning and end of each shift
* No fingernail lacquer policy - acrylic or gel nails are not permitted in the department
* Travel duos will need 2 separate vehicles as providers may be at different sites or float during a shift
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE
* BSN not required
* Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a 14-bed LDRP unit where patients remain in the same room throughout their stay, along with 2 OR suites for C-sections and 4 triage beds. The unit follows AWHONN staffing standards and has an OB hospitalist and Neonatal NP available 24/7, along with anesthesia in-house around the clock. The facility serves a diverse patient population and has a NICU embedded within 7 of its LDRP rooms, reflecting its commitment to comprehensive maternal and newborn care.
