Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2362.28

Opportunity:

RN - CSSU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts with a requirement of 12 shifts per month (3 shifts per week)
* 4 weekend shifts required per month
* Department leadership completes the schedule around requested time off
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* 1-2 LNA support available on unit
* Floating policy requires travelers to float first on a rotation basis
* MyCare boards updated each shift during bedside shift report; bedside shift report completed at each change of shift
* Strong telemetry skills required
* Experience titrating vasoactive medications such as Levophed, Phenylephrine, Dopamine, and Dobutamine required
* Chest tube experience required
* Arterial lines, Flo-Tracs, and temporary pacing experience preferred
* Procedures performed on unit include temporary pacing, pre-op prep for cardiovascular surgery, chest tube removal, and arterial line removal
* Equipment used includes GE Monitors, Hamilton BiPAP and HiFlo, Baxter IV Pumps, and Hemospheres
* Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Dress code: Scrubs (any color)

Facility:

This facility is a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 2 Trauma Center offering a specialized cardiovascular and vascular surgery unit. The 15-bed unit features a central monitor station for continuous patient monitoring, mobility team support, and access to advanced equipment and technology. The experienced staff provides high-acuity care in a well-supported environment focused on cardiovascular and vascular surgical specialties.
