Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants; no EP studies or ablations
* Daily caseload of 5-10 patients with an average daily census of 8-10
* 3 rooms with 5 beds
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV
* Required experience with GE Discovery, IABP, and Impella
* Required skills include EKG settings and experience, obtaining vitals, rhythm interpretation, and sinus node rhythms
* Pacemaker experience preferred
* Required charting systems: Epic and Pyxis; Merge preferred
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
* 10 call days per month required
* Floating required within department and facility, with possibility of floating to sister campus
* Holiday work expectations apply based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
