Job Details:

* High volume structural echo lab performing TEE, stress echo, and complete TTE with use of Lumason contrast, 3D and Strain imaging
* Serve inpatient, ICU, and outpatient populations
* Typical caseload for a 10-hour shift is 8 TTE studies
* Enter preliminary reports in collaboration with cardiologists
* Support structural echo procedures including TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, and ASD closures
* Scan patients with devices such as LVAD, Impella, and ECMO
* Support the organ recovery center (ORC) and Shepherds Spine Center
* Float within facility and scope of practice as needed
* On-call requirement: 1 week of call twice during a 13-week contract
* Holiday coverage required - expected to work major holidays that fall within assignment period
* Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
* All RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite
* No RTO can be requested during orientation week (Monday through Sunday)
* 8 orientation hours required
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Minimum 5 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, and one of the following - RDCS or CCI RCS
* Georgia license required
* Required skills: 3D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bubble Study, Emergency Department, ICU, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo, TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, and ASD closures
* Equipment experience preferred: Philips and Siemens

Facility:

This facility is a high-volume structural echo lab that supports a broad range of cardiac and specialty services. The lab works closely with cardiologists and supports both an organ recovery center one of the largest in the southeast as well as a spine center. The facility serves inpatient, ICU, and outpatient populations and is equipped to handle complex structural cardiac procedures and advanced cardiac device management.
