Job Details:

* Day shift position with option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* First time travelers welcome
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; 3 years preferred
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* 4-6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP (pending certifications accepted)
* AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
* Required skills include: antepartum care, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, assisting with high risk and vaginal deliveries, circulating for C-sections, recovering C-section patients, insulin drips, isolation precautions/PPE, maintaining central lines (CVC/PICC), sterile vaginal exams, triage of obstetrical patients, and use of external fetal heart monitoring
* Charting system experience required
* Unit consists of 15 rooms and 15 beds serving neonatal and adult patient populations
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within their scope based on facility needs

This healthcare facility operates a well-supported Labor & Delivery unit with 15 beds and a comprehensive interdisciplinary team. The unit handles a volume of 100-200 facility births per month and is equipped to support high-risk deliveries and C-sections. The facility provides a collaborative care environment with access to a wide range of support services to ensure quality patient outcomes for both mothers and newborns.
