Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* 36 hours per week guaranteed
* Minimum two years of recent acute care RN experience required
* One year of recent acute care RN experience in an operating room required
* EPIC experience required
* Stepdown and/or ER experience additionally preferred
* Perform professional nursing functions including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
* Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care responsibilities
* Obtain patient history and physical assessments according to unit-specific nursing protocols for all age groups
* Recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of cardiac or respiratory distress and other emergencies
* Demonstrate ability to effectively function in Code Blue and other emergency situations
* Accurately administer and document medications according to hospital policies using patient's 6 rights
* Maintain patient, co-worker, and hospital privacy standards
* Follow infection control guidelines
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor per AH policy), ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
* Current RN license in state of practice required
