Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required as an RN
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Day shift staffed with 5-7 RNs, 1 ER Tech (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM), and 1 Unit Secretary (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday)
* Night shift staffed with 5-6 RNs, 1 ER Tech (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM), and 1 Unit Secretary (5:00 PM - 1:00 AM Monday through Friday)
* High energy, fast-paced environment
* Typical procedures include STEMI, Stroke/TPA, and RSI
* Strong Neuro and Cardiac skills preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, CPI, and TNCC
* Preferred scrub color is royal blue, though not required
* No competitor emblems permitted on attire
* Unit operates with a 12-minute door to needle TPA protocol

This emergency department operates a 12-bed unit recognized for achieving the fastest bed assignment to patient in bed time in the Gulf Coast Division. The facility supports a dynamic team environment with dedicated ER Techs and Unit Secretaries across both day and night shifts. The department is known for its high-acuity capabilities including STEMI and stroke response, making it an excellent environment for experienced emergency nurses looking to work alongside a skilled and experienced team.
