Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg Tele

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday shifts required
* Schedule is determined by manager; block scheduling is not available
* Unit operates on a virtual integrated care nursing model (VIC)
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1
* 24-bed unit with acute care setting
* Commonly treat patients with CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and med/surg tele diagnoses
* Required to read telemetry strips; tele monitor techs are also present to monitor patients
* May care for patients requiring CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen
* Float to all med/surg units as needed
* Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) present at a 12:1 ratio
* Charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators available on unit
* Charting system: Paragon
* Scrub color: Navy blue
* Strong communication and time management skills required
* BLS Certification required
* BSN not required
