Opportunity:
RN - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
* 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, either 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM based on shift need
* 36 hours per week with a day off during the week
* Occasional Saturday shifts 1-2 times per month with possible holiday requirement
* Call shifts average 4-5 shifts per month
* 2-shift floor specific orientation
* IR RN required; ICU RN with IR experience will be considered
* Neuro IR experience required
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Pre-op and post-procedural care including recovery of patients post conscious sedation and general anesthesia
* Work across 5 angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine
* Cases include body IR: chemo embolization, Y-90, GJ, IVC filters, vascular access, angiograms, CT biopsy, ablations, ultrasound biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and neuro endovascular stroke treatment
* RN will not be required to work in the neuro endovascular area - body IR only
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs supplied by facility
* Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
* Men must be clean shaven for fit test
* Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
* Day 1 pass/fail SIMs Lab: Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes required
* Travel team members must have their own vehicle
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* BSN not required
* Active state license required
