Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
* 40 hours per week available
* 13-week contract accepted
* No call, float, or weekend requirements
* Average daily census of 50 patients with 8 rooms
* Perform perinatal scanning for high-risk pregnancies including Level 2 detailed anatomies, early anatomies, growth, BPP, dopplers, NT, TV, and fetal echo
* Patient diagnoses include chronic hypertension, gestational diabetes mellitus, growth restriction, and fetal abnormalities
* Patient age groups include adolescents and adults
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted (unless candidate has more than 2 years of experience)
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required work setting skills: High Risk OB, Obstetrics
* Required equipment experience: GE ultrasound equipment
* Required general ultrasound skills: Abdominal Aorta and Appendix
* Required OB/GYN skills: 1st through 3rd Trimester, Amniotic Fluid Index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, and Placenta Previa
* Required neonatal skills: Head and Heart
* Additional required skills: Outpatient, MCA and UA Dopplers, Viewpoint, and Fetal Echo
* Required certifications: ARDMS OB/GYN and BLS
* Preferred skills include portables, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, spleen, amniocentesis, bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, vaginal, breast cyst aspiration, breast ultrasound, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid
* Scrubs not provided; royal blue scrubs required

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a high-risk obstetrics and perinatal care center that performs all Level 2 detailed anatomies and provides comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine scanning services. The facility operates with a daily census of 50 patients across 8 rooms and utilizes Epic as its electronic health records system. The unit is equipped with GE ultrasound technology and supports a wide range of complex OB/GYN and neonatal diagnostic procedures.
