Job Details:

* Night shift position
* Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment
* Ensure all patients receive cost effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
* Maintain the highest level of patient safety and assess and take steps to improve quality of patient experience
* Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences with health team members, patients, and/or families to revise care plans
* Direct and monitor personnel in performance of patient care activities to ensure adequate patient care and quality of work
* Foster an environment of patient and family centered care with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs
* Investigate and resolve patient care and operational issues as needed
* Must have EPIC experience
* Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience required; Master's Degree preferred
* Minimum two years recent experience in field required; five years technical experience preferred
* Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required
* Required certifications: BLS, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
* Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
