Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Holiday rotation required
* One weekend shift required per four week schedule period
* Up to four on-call shifts required per four week schedule period
* May float within scope to meet facility needs between like units or sister facilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Experience in Neuro (spines/craniotomies), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (DaVinci Xi) cases highly preferred
* Common cases include Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (craniotomy, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), BLS
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Facility may call off one shift per two weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to one shift
* Block schedule may be accommodated with manager approval dependent on unit needs
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of application

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU/GYN, and Robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with RNs trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The department is a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven environment that provides cutting-edge technology to the surrounding community.
