Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Holiday rotation required
* Up to 1 weekend shift per 4-week schedule period
* Up to 4 on-call shifts per 4-week schedule period
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Experience highly preferred in Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (DaVinci Xi) cases
* Common cases include Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN
* Must be comfortable working across the full variety of surgical cases supported by the Main OR
* Required certifications: NBSTSA and BLS (NCCT not accepted)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: EPIC
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Block schedule requests require manager approval and are dependent on unit needs
* First-time travelers accepted

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU/GYN, and Robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with RNs trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The department is a busy and dynamic nurse-driven environment that provides cutting-edge technology to the community it serves.
