Opportunity:

CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Work Friday through Sunday, 12.5-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
* Mix of 10-hour and 12-hour shifts possible for both days and nights with assigned schedule posted at least 2 weeks in advance
* Weekend requirement varies depending on needs - some shifts require every weekend, others every other weekend
* Holiday requirement applies if scheduled day falls on a holiday
* Optional call with 45-minute response time
* Perform all routine CT exams for Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Department patients
* Perform Cardiac CT, biopsy/drain procedures, and Cryo/Microwave ablations
* Must be able to perform all routine CT exams as well as Trauma cases
* Occasionally float to X-ray to cover ED, Inpatient, and Outpatient X-ray as needed
* Average of 65-70 scans per 24-hour period across 3 scanners
* IV skills required - very helpful for working with outpatients
* Department uses EMR: EPIC, PACS: SECTRA, and Windows computer software
* Equipment includes 1 GE REV CT and 2 GE REV HD scanners
* Radiologist on site 24/7
* Radiation badge required prior to starting assignment
* Any color scrubs permitted as long as appearance is professional
* First three days are dedicated to department orientation
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT)

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive Radiology department with a dedicated CT division featuring three scanners. The department is supported by both an imaging supervisor and shift/modality lead technologists, with a radiologist available on site around the clock. The facility utilizes industry-leading technology and software systems to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings.
