Job Details:

* Work night shift hours with rotating weekends
* Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
* Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
* Document according to standards of care
* Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
* Develop, initiate, and execute patient plans of care according to individualized patient needs
* Provide patient and family instruction as prescribed by physician and/or clinic policy
* Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities including shared governance
* Utilize clinical expertise to provide guidance to other units and departments in support of patient longitudinal plans of care
* Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, escalating to appropriate chain of command when necessary
* Participate in professional nursing continuum process, unit practice activities, and peer review process
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
* Wisconsin RN Licensure required
* Education verification required
