Open Position: RN - PCU Tele

Opportunity:

PCU/Medical-Surgical Nursing Position

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts: Days 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or Nights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend rotation required at least 2 times per month (weekend nights are Friday/Saturday, Sunday not considered weekend for night shift)
* Minimum 1 year experience required, will consider first-time travelers with at least 2 years total experience including 1 year PCU
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* Must be skilled in trach care, chest tube management, TR band care, post-catheterization lab procedures, and central line maintenance
* Must be comfortable reading, interpreting, and measuring cardiac rhythms
* Experience required with BiPAP and high flow oxygen therapy
* Must be comfortable with titratable drips including diltiazem, amiodarone, heparin, digoxin, Bumex, and Lasix
* Care for general medical patients including diabetes, GI/GU conditions, pneumonia, stroke, sepsis, and dialysis patients
* Provide cardiac care for PCI pre/post procedures, CHF, MI, and post-catheterization patients requiring frequent monitoring
* May float within scope throughout the hospital
* Work with high Spanish-speaking population (30%) and underserved patient population
* Use Epic EMR system
* Any color scrubs permitted
* No on-call responsibilities
