Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 38-bed mixed ICU unit on the 3rd floor of the main building
* Level II Trauma Center caring for medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery patients
* Care for post-operative open-heart patients and manage VV and VA ECMO, balloon pump, Impella, and CRRT
* Patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 16-18 staff members
* Perform bedside procedures including bronchoscopies, GI scopes, chest tube insertions, and arterial and central line insertions
* Provide airway care and perform frequent drip titrations
* Utilize equipment including Stryker beds, Avea ventilators, GE monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Maquet IABP, Vigilance II monitors, Impella, ECMO Maquet Cardiohelp, Medtronic Vital Flow, and NICOM
* Document using Meditech EMR system; prior Meditech experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience required
* CVICU/CTICU experience with care of immediate post-operative open-heart surgery patients preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
