RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
* Labor and Delivery unit located on the 5th floor of the main building
* Unit consists of 17 beds with a staff of 56
* Day and night shifts include 1 charge nurse, 5-6 RNs, and 1 OB Scrub Tech
* Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3, fluctuating based on acuity
* Equipment used includes EFM (TOCCO, US), Doppler, and Novii
* EMR system: Meditech/CPN
* Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital L&D experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or NCC-EFM
* Meditech experience preferred
* CEFM and RNC-OB certifications preferred
* Willingness to precept preferred
* Typical procedures include labor, C-section, Pitocin (PIT), Magnesium drip, internal assessment (IA), ECV, and cerclage placement
* Strong teamwork and communication skills with staff and providers required
* Exceptional patient experience skills required
