Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Position located on the 2nd floor of the Main Entrance building in the Delivery Room unit
* Patient ratios: 1:1 for high risk labor and C-sections; 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, and postpartum on mag; 1:3 for postpartum mag with no baby and outpatients
* Work with equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN (GE) monitor
* EMR system: Meditech/CPN
* Perform C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler procedures
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital L&D RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN
* Circulating C-sections experience preferred
* High risk LDR experience preferred
* Compassionate, caring, friendly, patient, and solutions-oriented personality preferred
* Self-scheduling available
* Team nursing approach with collaborative staff environment

Facility:

This medical center operates a 26-bed Labor and Delivery unit staffed by a team of 112 dedicated professionals. The unit features a collaborative team nursing approach with experienced staff, many of whom bring 20 to 40 years of tenure. The facility supports a new OB Hospitalist program that provides attending support to the residency program and nurses working triage, and maintains strong leadership that is actively supportive of nursing staff.
