Open Position: RN - Endoscopy

Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* 18-bed Medical/Telemetry unit located on the 3rd floor
* Patient ratio of 6:1 RN
* Day shift team includes Charge RN, RNs, and 1 PCT
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* NIH certification preferred
* Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
* Work with equipment including Philips Monitors, Alaris Pumps, dopplers, Welch-Allyn VS machines, Mobilab, and glucometers
* Perform and assist with minimally invasive surgeries, colectomy, ostomy creation and takedown, artificial airway creation and management, podiatry and plastics procedures
* Manage patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, sepsis, DKA, and pneumonia
* Must be proficient in trach and ostomy care
* Weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) required per schedule period
* Must be team oriented, invested in good patient outcomes, and comfortable in a busy environment
* Must be able to shift priorities with ease and enjoy precepting and coaching new nurses
