Open Position: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work four 10-hour day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM
* Shifts typically start at 7:00 AM but candidates must be flexible for earlier or later scheduled cases
* Possible on-call requirement
* Facility currently operates one cath lab with plans to expand to two cath labs
* Caseload varies from 0 to 5-6 cases per day
* Perform procedures including PCIs, peripherals, diagnostic caths, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters
* RNs must circulate; scrubbing is not required
* Knowledge of balloon pumps required; STEMI experience is a plus
* Must have experience to help train new nurses
* Charting systems used: Cerner, Sensis, and Merge
* Equipment used includes GE systems
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
