Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* STEMI and Stroke receiving center with 4 labs
* Monday through Friday with call requirements; Saturday and Sunday call requirements
* Weekday on-call hours: 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend and holiday on-call hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (24-hour coverage)
* 10 to 14 call shifts within a 42-day schedule
* 3 weekends every 6-week schedule
* Float required between specialties within the lab
* Support cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures
* Procedures include TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro, and IR
* Stroke and IR experience strongly preferred
* Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in Cath Lab required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS, Fluoroscopy Permit, and state license
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff
* Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Daily census of 6 patients across 4 rooms
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission
* 2 professional references required covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
