Job Details:

* 13-week temporary contract position
* Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift
* 40 expected hours per week
* On-call required: one weekday per week from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM and one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM)
* Likely one holiday on-call shift over the course of the contract
* On-call callbacks occur only for HIDA, GI Bleed, Brain Death, and Lung cases
* Float between Nuclear Medicine and PET as needed for direct and indirect patient care
* Indirect patient care duties include patient reminder calls
* Perform 10+ nuclear medicine procedures per day and 12-14 PET/CT procedures per day
* Top procedures include whole body bone scans, lung scans, gastric emptying, renal scans, HIDA scans, thyroid uptake and scan, thyroid whole body scans, DaTscan brain scans, lympho scans, parathyroid scans, FDG PET, and specialty PET
* Must be proficient in general nuclear medicine as well as PET
* Most commonly used equipment: GE and Siemens
* Required certifications: ARRT (NM) or NMTCB
* 3-5+ years of experience required
* Grey scrubs required
* Parking available for $50 per month
* No local candidates within 50 miles considered

The department is equipped with modern GE and Siemens technology and handles a high volume of both nuclear medicine and PET/CT studies daily. The team is experienced and supportive, providing a well-structured on-call system with historically low callback frequency.
