Open Position: Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Details:

* 8-hour day/evening variable shifts with earliest start time at 6:00 AM and latest end time at midnight
* Staggered start times beginning at 6:00 AM for day shifts
* 10-hour shifts for PM/overnight roles on a block schedule of 7/70
* Early shifts will not be scheduled following a late shift
* Up to every other weekend required
* Rotating holiday schedule
* No on-call requirement; may be asked to call in for sick coverage
* Cover inpatient roles with variable assignments based on team needs
* Must be comfortable with standard pediatric orders due to embedded pediatric hospital
* Perform order verification, product check and release, and remote sterile compounding verification
* Complete clinical tasks including IV-PO conversions, renal dose reviews, aminoglycoside dosing, and anticoagulation dosing
* Work with Omnicell ADMs, Cerner EMR, and Pharmacy Keeper compounding and remote verification systems
* Business casual dress code required; facility scrubs provided in Navy when entering sterile environment
* Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required; residency trained or 3 years of experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Wisconsin license required; ACT 10 accepted
* Orientation period of 1-2 weeks depending on specialization of the role being filled

Facility:

This acute care facility operates at a Trauma Level 2 designation and includes an embedded pediatric hospital, requiring pharmacy staff to be comfortable with a broad range of patient populations. The pharmacy department is staffed 24 hours a day in both sterile compounding and nonsterile roles, supporting a comprehensive inpatient environment with modern dispensing and charting systems.
