Opportunity:

Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* On-call rotation includes 1 weekday night per week and every 4th weekend
* On-call required for holidays as well
* 8 to 9 hour shifts with cyclic scheduling
* General ultrasound only - no vascular or echo procedures
* Perform imaging for both adult and pediatric patients including biopsies
* X-ray experience required
* Department operates 2 ultrasound scanners/rooms
* Radiology supervisor present on each shift
* One week of department-specific orientation, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* EMR system: EPIC | PACS system: McKesson
* Equipment used: Siemens
* Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
* Driver's license required at submittal
* Must reside outside of 50-mile radius rule
* Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, BLS

Facility:

This acute care facility is a Level 3 trauma center offering comprehensive radiology services including general X-ray and ultrasound imaging. The department operates two ultrasound scanners and utilizes modern technology to support a wide range of diagnostic imaging needs. A radiology supervisor is present on each shift to support the clinical team and ensure high standards of patient care.
