Job Details:

* Work in 41-bed telemetry unit focused on cardiac and stroke patients
* Available shifts: Days 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Evenings 3:00 PM-11:30 PM, Nights 11:00 PM-7:30 AM
* Every other weekend requirement (Saturday and Sunday)
* May be required to participate in holiday rotation
* Schedule made 4-6 weeks in advance with flexibility expected to fill permanent staff gaps
* Block scheduling not guaranteed
* First to float when floating is required
* No call or standby requirements
* Must have telemetry experience
* Required certifications: BLS and PCT certification via NHA
* Maroon red scrubs required
* Orientation includes 2 days classroom and 1 day with preceptor
* Job duties include patient care, activities of daily living, blood sugar checks, vital signs, and additional patient care tasks
* Work with telemetry monitors and tele technicians on unit
* Charting system: Allscripts
* Cancellation policy allows up to 1 shift per 4-week assignment, 2 shifts per 8-week assignment, or 3 shifts per 13-week assignment with no penalty
