Opportunity:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* 40 hours guaranteed per week
* Call required every 5 weeks for the duration of that week
* When on call, clinician works alone but remains within the hospital with others available for assistance
* Every other holiday required
* Dress code: Dark gray/gray scrubs
* Administer nuclear imaging procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications
* Perform quality nuclear medicine imaging examinations while adhering to strict patient care standards
* Carry out hot lab duties and perform a variety of nuclear medicine studies on inpatients and outpatients across all age groups from neonate to geriatric
* Practice radiation safety and safely operate all cameras and department equipment
* Process and send data to required destinations via computer
* Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals and therapeutic dosages under physician direction
* Monitor patient condition during imaging procedures and collect and analyze patient data to provide quality images for physician diagnosis
* May be cross-trained in performing PET/CT scans; PET/CT experience is not required and clinicians will not be scheduled for PET/CT without their consent
* Utilize Siemens Symbia cameras, Epic charting system, and SECTRA PACS
* PACS and Epic training provided during orientation
* Required certifications: NMTCB CNMT or ARRT CNMT, BLS Certification
* North Dakota state license required
* Must badge in and out at the facility
* This location does not accept local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles of the facility

Facility:

This acute care facility operates as a Level 2 Trauma Center, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services across a wide range of medical specialties. The nuclear medicine department is equipped with advanced imaging technology and utilizes a modern electronic charting system to support high-quality patient care. The department consists of two imaging rooms with the addition of a PET/CT suite, and maintains a collaborative environment where staff support one another even during on-call hours.
