Job Details:
* Work three 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with a daily census of 36 patients
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS; NIHSS preferred
* Telemetry competency required
* Previous charge experience preferred; community hospital experience preferred
* Block schedule requests can be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking on site
* Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including diabetes, hypertension, CAD, seizures, CVA, TIA, and CRD
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Required skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, PICC line management, blood product administration, heparin protocols, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, and more

This acute care hospital is a 286-bed Level III Trauma Center offering a wide range of medical services to the community. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides robust interdisciplinary support across departments.
