Opportunity:
RN - Labor and Delivery
Job Details:
* Rotating shift schedule with variable days of the week
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* On-call required per unit needs
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs, with 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* Float required within Women and Infant unit and may be required to float within metro region per facility needs
* Work within a 19-room Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Navy
* 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; prior travel experience preferred, first-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Colorado or Compact RN license required
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO is not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2 September 12, 2026; October 25 November 4, 2026; November 22 December 2, 2026; December 20 January 3, 2027
* No blocked scheduling requests permitted
* Self-scheduling unit
* Key skills include: Labor and Delivery, Cesarean Section, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, External and Internal Fetal Monitoring, Postpartum Hemorrhage management, Epidural Anesthesia support, Antepartum care, and use of infusion pumps and IV monitoring
Facility:
This facility is a large health system offering comprehensive women's and infants' services, including a dedicated Labor and Delivery unit with 19 rooms. The unit is supported by an interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Interpretation Services, and Transportation. The organization is committed to providing high-quality maternal and neonatal care and utilizes Epic as its charting system.
