RN/MS ONC NIGHTS-Metro Region
Job Details:
* Night shift position with variable days of the week
* 12-hour night shifts
* Weekend requirement based on unit needs
* 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
* No on-call required
* Patient ratios: 1:4 day shift, 1:5 night shift; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs candidates must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
* Float required within scope to meet facility needs, including potential floating to sister facilities
* 36-bed Oncology/GYN-ONC/Palliative/Med Tele unit
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Navy
* Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, Colorado or Compact RN license
* Oncology certification preferred but not required
* Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) preferred
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, administration of chemotherapy and blood products, central line blood draw and care, continuous infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, neutropenic precautions, PCA pump management, PICC line care, wound care, foley catheter insertion/management, phlebotomy, sepsis management, and additional oncology-related competencies
* Treats adult patient population
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, radiology, social services, and more
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2?September 12, 2026; October 25?November 4, 2026; November 22?December 2, 2026; December 20?January 3, 2027
