Opportunity:

Mammography Tech - Outpatient Clinic

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Daily caseload of 55 patients
* Perform a minimum of 20 screening mammograms per day
* Diagnostic mammography exams may be performed as schedule allows, with primary focus on screening mammography
* Must perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms
* Must be proficient in operating Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment - hard requirement
* Float to facilities throughout the Charleston area as needed
* Overtime may require adjusted shift hours; if tech works beyond contracted shift, may be asked to come in late the next day to eliminate overtime
* Fast-paced environment requiring autonomy, effective teamwork, great communication, a positive attitude, and flexibility
* Scrub color: Any shade of pink or dark teal top with black bottom
* Charting system: Epic
* No radiation badge required
* Facility does not allow call outs
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (M), SCRQSA (M)
* South Carolina state license required and must be in hand prior to start
* Required skills: Hologic 3D, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Siemens
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
