Opportunity:

Medical-Surgical ICU

Job Details:

* 3x12 day shift schedule
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period required
* Float required based on schedule
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Key skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, blood product administration, central line care/management, BiPAP/CPAP management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias, interpretation of ABGs, and PICC line management
* Special equipment experience required: CRRT (NXXT Stage)
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds across 12 rooms, maintaining a daily census of 14 patients. The unit is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility is equipped with advanced specialized equipment and provides a high level of critical care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
