Opportunity:

Radiologic Technologist

Job Details:

* Day shift position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Support daily diagnostic X-ray operations
* Operate X-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians
* Position and instruct patients prior to examination
* Adjust X-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time for each radiograph
* Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
* Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
* Prepare equipment and examination rooms for patient exams
* Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
* Produce diagnostic images and document exam information
* Report important information to the physician and verify exams on PACS
* Fluoroscopy and C-arm experience required to provide coverage for procedural and surgical imaging needs
* Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred
* Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
* Required certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R), Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required
* Fluoroscopy license required within 6 months of hire
