Open Position: RN - MICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1772.20

Opportunity:

RN - MICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend schedule required
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 13-week assignment
* No on-call requirements
* Minimum 2-3 years or more ICU experience required
* MICU and MSICU background preferred
* IABP exposure preferred
* CRRT exposure preferred
* Meditech documentation system experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification
* Active Texas RN License required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Perform procedures including chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, art lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
* Strong critical thinking skills required
* All travelers are required to float per facility floating policy
* Badge in and out for each shift and take a full 30-minute lunch break
* Clock in time is 6:38 AM/PM - arriving after 6:45 AM/PM is considered tardy
* Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket for RNs
* Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Nails must be clean and healthy
* Tattoos must be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
