Job Details:

* Day shift, Monday through Friday
* On-call required
* 6 weekend shifts per contract
* 9 patient visits per day with a 1:8 patient ratio
* Primary duties are hospital-based with potential float coverage to main outpatient department as needed
* Perform majority of exams bedside in an acute care setting serving adult and geriatric patients
* Cover advanced pathology and patient populations following ASE guidelines for protocols and contrast use
* Pre/post device imaging experience required
* Experience with advanced devices such as Impella, LVAD, ECMO, and structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, LAAO) preferred
* Competency with Philips ultrasound machines required
* Document and chart using Epic and ScImage (PACS)
* Write preliminary reports as needed
* Minimum 1 year of experience working independently in a high-volume center required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ARDMS RDCS AE, BLS, CCI, RDCS
* Required skills: Adult Acute Care, ER, ICU, 2-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Portable Studies, RVIT, RVOT, Routine, Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area, Philips, Isolation Precautions, Procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings, and Epic
* 24-hour orientation consisting of 3 days of facility and protocol training with additional preliminary reporting as needed

Facility:

This is an accredited acute care facility that follows ASE guidelines for imaging protocols and contrast use. The facility is primarily hospital-based and handles advanced pathology and complex patient populations, with the majority of exams completed bedside. The facility utilizes Philips imaging equipment as its primary technology platform and supports advanced cardiac device management including structural heart procedures.
