RN - Labor & Delivery
Job Details:
* Work 3x12-hour day shifts with 36 weekly guaranteed hours
* May be required to float to other maternal units including postpartum and NICU based on organizational needs
* No on-call requirements
* Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
* May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during scheduling period
* 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience in a high-risk hospital required
* Prior travel experience required
* Work in a high-risk OB unit with 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum beds, and 3 OR suites
* Nevada State RN license required prior to start
* Required certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS; STABLE preferred
* Extremely busy and fast-paced environment with volume and pace comparable to a Level 1 trauma center
Facility:
This facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, treating over 80,000 emergency and trauma patients annually across a 500-mile radius. The facility operates an 800-bed inpatient hospital with 80 emergency room beds and is home to the region's only children's hospital, a leading robotic surgery institute, and comprehensive heart, cancer, brain, and nerve care services. The facility has pioneered numerous medical advancements in the region, including the first accredited heart failure center, the first Institute for Neurosciences, and the first low-dose CT imaging, Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, and dedicated PET/CT scanner in northern Nevada.
