Open Position: RN - Med Surg

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1617.88

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - RN MedSurg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekends required
* Self-scheduling allowed within reason of balanced schedule
* Patient ratios of 1:5-6 on day shift and 1:6 on night shift
* Work on a 43-bed medical unit on the 5th floor
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, and 4 CNAs
* Previous med/surg nursing experience in an acute care setting required
* Meditech EMR experience preferred
* Perform procedures related to any type of surgery excluding cardiac and open neuro surgery
* May float to medical unit or ER to provide med/surg hold nurse capabilities
* Royal blue scrubs required
* Must be a willing team player, able to jump in and ask questions when unsure of processes

The medical unit operates with a robust team of nursing staff and support personnel, maintaining consistent patient ratios to ensure quality care. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and supports a collaborative, team-oriented environment across its departments.
