Opportunity:

RN - Stroke & Brain

Job Details:

* 48 guaranteed hours approved for travelers
* 3 shifts per week required
* 3-4 weekend shifts per scheduling period
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Float policy requires agency and contract staff to float to any area where competency has been demonstrated
* Work with equipment including Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady lift, telemetry, bladder scanner, and Doppler
* Document using Meditech system
* Experience with cardiac drips, telemetry, and neurology required
* Stroke experience required
* Basic dysrhythmia and cardiac drips advanced skills required
* Required certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS
* Required dress code: Navy Blue

This facility is a well-established medical center housing a dedicated 16-bed Stroke & Brain unit with a high level of employee engagement. The unit is supported by technicians and unit secretaries, and utilizes modern medical equipment to provide comprehensive neurological and cardiac care. The facility maintains strong standards for patient experience with a focus on telemetry and stroke care excellence.
