Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Room

Job Details:

* Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in the emergency room
* Triage each patient and determine priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social needs
* Perform focused assessment of chief complaints of each patient in a timely manner according to established triage guidelines
* Responsible for moving patients, taking blood samples, cleaning and bandaging wounds, administering medications, and maintaining proper supplies
* Carry out patient care according to hospital policies and procedures functioning within the limitations of the Nurse Practice Act
* Strong time management skills required
* Minimum two years of experience in critical care nursing preferred
* Must be currently licensed to practice as an R.N. in the State of Colorado
* Specialty certification for specialty areas preferred
* Required certifications upon hire: BLS and ACLS
* TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year
* ENPC preferred and required within 6 months (or PALS accepted within 6 months)
