Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* ICU/CCU Adult unit located on the 1st floor of the main building
* 30-bed unit with a staff of 57 nurses
* Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, with potential for overflow and increased ratios
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse with RN coverage of 2-3 patients per nurse
* Nurse externs on staff to assist nursing staff
* Work with Lenet beds and GE monitors
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform rapid intubation, chest tube management, and external ventricular drain (EVD) care
* Treat LVAD and CRRT patients
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH stroke scale
* Neuro certification preferred
* Neuro and trauma experience preferred
* Must be flexible and willing to change assignments mid-shift to accommodate patient acuity
