Open Position: RN - Nurse Lead

Opportunity:

RN - Charge Nurse

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* No set schedule, rotating shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities required
* Minimum 5 years of clinical experience required
* Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience required
* Charge Nurse experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (completed within the last 2 years)
* Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
* Supervise and direct activities of nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion
* Ensure patients receive cost-effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
* Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences with health team members, patients, and families to revise care plans
* Monitor personnel in the performance of patient care activities to ensure quality of work
* Foster an environment of patient and family-centered care with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs
* Conduct rounds to oversee patient care needs and solicit feedback on quality of nursing services
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
* Master's Degree preferred
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required

This acute care facility has been providing care to the community since 1959 and features 162 beds, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a county-designated trauma center.
