Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float within the facility as required, same expectation as current staff nurses with agency floating first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU and/or Stepdown
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Facility:

This facility is a community-based hospital featuring a 12-bed stepdown unit that provides specialized intermediate care for adult and geriatric patients. The unit supports a wide range of complex patient diagnoses and procedures, utilizing Epic as its primary charting system. The facility maintains consistent staffing ratios and offers a collaborative care environment with interdisciplinary support services.
