Opportunity:

RN - Maternity Care Center

Job Details:

* Work in a Labor & Delivery and Maternity Care unit performing labor & delivery, cesarean sections, post-partum and newborn care, OBED triage, inductions, and midwife support
* Patient ratios of 3 couplets per nurse; L&D is 1:1 for active labor, Pitocin, and epidural patients
* 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; day shifts on Saturday/Sunday and night shifts on Friday/Saturday
* No on-call requirement for travel staff, however, opportunity for extra shifts may be available
* Float within the unit only - no floating to other areas of the facility
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Required to work with Corometrics equipment and EMR systems Centricity Perinatal and Meditech
* OB experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN
* Preferred experience: Cesarean section circulator, first assist, and scrub
* Best personality fit: Energetic and self-directed

Facility:

This medical center houses a comprehensive Maternity Care Center featuring 9 LDR rooms, 8 postpartum/GYN beds, 2 OR suites, and a 23-bed wellborn nursery. The unit is staffed by a team of 50+ professionals including directors, managers, couplet nurses, birth response nurses, L&D nurses, and scrub techs across both day and night shifts. The facility provides a full spectrum of maternity and women's health services in a well-equipped and supportive environment.
