Open Position: RN - OR PACU

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Work 9 or 12-hour shifts with options for day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) or night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
* On-call required 1-2 times per week with 1 call weekend per month
* 2 call holidays per year required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1
* 15-bed PACU unit with closed floating policy
* Minimum 1-2 years of ICU or ER experience preferred, with at least 1 year of floor experience
* Ventilator experience preferred
* Perform procedures including ECT, bedside manipulations, and blood patch
* Work with GE bedside monitors, bladder scanner, central tele monitor, IV pumps, EKG, thermometer, and suction equipment
* Document using Expanse documentation system
* Follow Expanse documentation guidelines
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required

Facility:

This medical center features a 15-bed PACU unit located on the second floor, equipped with advanced monitoring technology including GE bedside monitors and central telemetry monitoring systems. The unit is staffed with a team of skilled RN nurses supported by one PCT, and performs a range of procedures including ECT, bedside manipulations, and blood patches. The facility utilizes the Expanse documentation system and maintains a closed unit floating policy to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.
