Open Position: CSFA - First Assist

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2223.40

RN - OR

Job Details:

* Work in a 16-room operating room unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
* Day shift staffing includes 16 RNs, 16 SAs, and 16 surgical techs per OR room
* Evening shift tapers to 4 teams from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 2 teams from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and 1 team from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
* Night shift is call only
* Call rotation averages 2 call shifts per week, including weekday nights and weekend primary and backup
* Additional 2 call teams begin at 3:00 PM
* Perform all surgical procedures except transplant and cardiac surgery
* Work with OR equipment including robotics, neurosurgery, general, plastics, urology, and orthopedic equipment
* Robotic experience required
* Orthopedic experience required
* Neuro/spine experience required
* EMR system: Meditech
* Hospital-provided scrubs required
* No floating to other areas
* Virginia nursing license required

This healthcare facility is a full-service hospital housing a 16-room operating room department that handles a wide range of surgical specialties including robotics, neurosurgery, general surgery, plastics, urology, and orthopedics. The facility operates with dedicated surgical teams across day, evening, and call shifts to ensure comprehensive patient care around the clock. The organization maintains a collaborative team environment and utilizes the Meditech EMR system to support its surgical staff.
