RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* Work on a 36-bed Medical Surgical unit on the 5th floor of the main hospital
* Patient ratio of 1:6
* Day shift staffing includes 1 clinical coordinator, 6 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary
* Night shift staffing includes 1 clinical coordinator, 6 RNs, and 2 techs
* Provide care for post-operative patients including maintaining drains and performing wound care
* Competency with dressing changes, wound care, and drain management preferred
* Familiarity with post-operative patients preferred
* Work with Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCD equipment
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Required certification: BLS
* Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong patient advocacy skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
* Dress code: Navy blue or white scrubs; no hoodies, pullovers, or t-shirts permitted
