Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work in a 27-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4-6:1
* Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics with additional staff added at 11am (4-5 RNs) and 3pm (1-2 RNs)
* Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics
* Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) in a 4-week scheduling period
* No on-call responsibilities
* No floating required
* Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments
* Must have 2-3 years Emergency Department experience
* Preferred experience in high acuity ERs, fast-paced ERs with high volume, and patient ratios of 5:1
* Perform procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, care of psychiatric patients, and transfers to other facilities (EMTALA)
* Work with EMR system Meditech
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
* Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIH
* Dress code: Navy blue or white scrubs
