Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work in a 27-bed Emergency Department with a team of 50 RNs and 25 Medics
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics with additional RNs added at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics
* Patient ratios of 4-6:1
* Four weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) required within a four-week scheduling period
* No on-call responsibilities
* Perform procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, care of psychiatric patients, and EMTALA transfers
* Must have 2-3 completed travel assignments
* Must have 2-3 years of ER experience
* Experience in high acuity, fast-paced, high-volume ERs preferred
* Experience with patient ratios of 5:1 preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
* Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIH
* EMR system: Meditech
* Dress code: Navy blue or white scrubs
