Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

* 13-week travel contract
* No weekend shifts required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
* Float required to preop and phase II PACU, as well as sister ministry facilities (Santa Rosa or Healdsburg); at least 24 hours advance notice will be provided
* Minimum 3 years of experience required; at least 1 year in endoscopy
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CGRN
* Required skills include: administering and monitoring conscious sedation, airway management, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), esophageal varices and banding, balloon dilators, bronchoscopy, sclerotherapy, pre/post procedure care, propofol administration, recovering monitored anesthesia care sedation, reversal agents, starting and maintaining IVs, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, specimen handling and labeling, and scrub duties
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 professional references required covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
