RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work on a 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit located on the 2nd floor
* Unit includes 3 OR suites, 3 triage rooms, and 3 recovery rooms
* Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines and may be 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 depending on acuity
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 12 RNs, and 2-3 surgical techs
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6-7 RNs, and 1 surgical tech
* Perform labor, delivery, recovery, triage, antepartum care, and circulate for C-sections
* Provide first hour baby care, breastfeeding assistance, and patient-centered care
* Work with equipment including Novii monitors, iMobile, headsets, pass-through skin-to-skin C-section drape, deep soaker tubs, light therapy, and aroma therapy
* Use CPN and Meditech EMR systems
* 24/7 in-house coverage includes hospitalist, midwife, anesthesia, and neonatologist support
* Minimum 2 years of current L&D experience required
* Current intermediate fetal heart monitoring certification required within the previous 2 years
* Current NRP and BLS certifications required
* Experience at facilities with 3,000+ births per year preferred
* Dress code requires navy blue scrubs, closed-toe shoes, and covered tattoos and piercings
